Figure the SWC, WAC and C-USA are/were much higher in the pecking order on the officiating tree than the Great West. Throw in that it was a Saturday...

Who is the official supervisor for the GW anyway? I know that the Big 12, OVC, SLC, Sun Belt and C-USA are all under Dale Kelley.

Are you kidding me?? USD has had 169 fewer fouls called against them than their opponent on the season.

I don't think Terror was being critical. I mean, we obviously know we are not going to the NIT, but I think he was just stating that as far as the postseason is concerned, that game did not really matter.

I don't think Terror was being critical. I mean, we obviously know we are not going to the NIT, but I think he was just stating that as far as the postseason is concerned, that game did not really matter.

I think he was smirking when he said that. Why would it be a "good thing" if we can't even get an NIT berth?

I kind of see what he was trying to say, like "imagine if you were trying to get in the NIT and the tiebreaker came down to a coin toss." Maybe that's what he was trying to say, but it came off as "you're in the Great West and even if you win it doesn't matter since you can't even get into the NIT."

I sorta agree with micks it seems as though Terror either

A) treats us all as idiots and assumes we know absolutley nothing about college basketball

OR

B) looks for in any way he can to remind us how bad we are, or how far we have to come.

That being said, im glad he is apart of the message board, I just wish he was more positive than what he is.

I love that he is on the board cause he knows a lot more than me about certain things in college sports. I don't fault him if it's just part of his personality, but there has been several occasions when he throws in little tidbits like what Nick was referring to. But, it is a message board and he can post whatever the heck he wants.

Meh. If we can't stand the heat, we better get out of the kitchen. I wish we were good enough to back up some trash talk.

Even if it was some indirect mess talking, I am ok with it, but I don't even think it was. SHSU can get an NIT berth based on their regular-season title or an NCAA berth if they won their conference tourney as well. We only have one option, and that is a berth in the CBI or CTI or whatever if we win our conference tourney.
